We’ve listed some general questions that we’re commonly asked below. Take a quick read to see if we’ve hit the nail on the head for you! Don’t forget that we’re available to discuss any questions that you may have over the phone or via email too. We’re happy to chat about wedding photography, real estate photography, all sorts of portrait photography and event / concert / stage / recital photography.

What type of photography do you specialise in?

We have many years’ experience in a broad variety of photographic services – events, weddings, live stage, landscape, real estate, portraits of all types – check our Portfolio for examples of our work.

Which areas do you provide photography services for?
We provide photography services for the broader Brisbane & Gold Coast areas in QLD. We’re based on the Gold Coast, but can travel to you as needed.
What are your office hours?
We're available from 9:00am to 9:00pm 7 days a week for phone & email contact, and outside of these times for photography shoots as required.

PHOTO DELIVERY

How are my photos delivered?
Your photos are delivered via a private secure download link.
How soon will I receive my photos after the shoot?
Your photos will be delivered within 1 week of the completion of your shoot – often sooner!
Do you provide processing & editing services for my shoot?
Yes – we use a variety of industry-standard software to turn your RAW shots into finished masterpieces.
How many photos will I get?

Please refer to the Pricing page for an estimate of the final number of processed shots included in each package.

Do you keep a backup copy if I lose my photos?
Your download link will remain valid for at least one month, and the original processed JPG shots will be archived & retained for 6 months after completion of your shoot.
What happens if I lose my photos?

Your photos are precious, and we maintain an ongoing archive of all of our shoots. Please contact us if you lose your photos and we will do our best to provide copies.

Will my photos appear on your website?
We use a small selection of relevant photos on our pages and online profiles for self-promotion only – we never sell them to stock libraries.
What images will I receive from my shoot?
The photos from your shoot will be delivered in hi res JPG, which is great for archiving and printing. You'll also receive a set of lo-res JPG files suitable for social sharing.
Is it possible to purchase the RAW photos?
For a small additional cost, you may also request the processed RAW (DNG) files from your shoot in case you wish to do further post processing.
Photography copyright or image usage rights
The standard rights we offer are perpetual (lifetime) rights - you may use your photos for promotion in any medium you choose. Stock library sales, competition use or reselling are all excluded without written permission from TTL Photography.

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

When booking a photographer, what information do you need?
We initially need your full name, phone number and email address, along with the requested date for your shoot, the shoot location and your preferred package. We'll call you to discuss the details of your shoot.
What if I have specific requirements?
Please take a look at our Pricing for standard packages. If you have specific needs, please contact us to chat about your requirements. We're more than happy to tailor a package to specifically suit you.
Do you require a deposit when I book?
We request a 50% non-refundable deposit 7 days prior to the event to secure your preferred date and time. EFT details will be provided when we confirm your booking.
When do I need to pay the balance?
The balance is due immediately upon supply of your finished photos. Once your balance payment clears, your photo pack will be immediately available for you to download.
What if I need to cancel at short notice?
Late cancellations (less than 7 days notice) may have the received deposit applied against a future booking at the discretion of TTL Photography. Talk to us to work out a solution if this happens.
